Probably the trip to Yunnan was the best and most meaningful China Trip I have led.

Imagine…
A 12-year old,

Wake up at 4:30 in the morning, quietly and slowly ascend to the top and wait for the sunrise in the chill, while the Old Town of Lijiang is still asleep

Walk along one of the most spectacular part of the upper course of the Yangtze River, and watch how the water roars and swirls, like ...
thousands of yellow horses galloping to the East.

Wander on the greenest pasture near Lashi Lake at dusk, and enjoy patting the tiny horses and chasing after an army of ducklings, cheer for the rainbow and adore the glamorous colors of the trees and everything between heaven and earth.

Ascend to almost 4000 meters and stroll uphill, panting, gazing at the magnificent mountains, seems the whole world is below our feet.

Last but not least, being grounded in the waiting room of the Airport for 9 hours because of extremely poor weather, and can’t have a bed to sleep on since 4:30 in the previous morning, because the airline company doesn’t want to spend money to accommodate us.

These experiences must have been eye-opening, stimulating and unforgettable to everyone.

I am very exhausted at this moment, but feeling thankful to every beautiful and good thing in these few days, which is as long as a year for me.

Special thanks to all the students who were so cooperative. Hope that all of you will have an even stronger interest to explore around, and add more spice to your life by travelling, for we are born free to behold the beauty of the world.
